‘’The Schema theory is a cognitive framework that helps us understand how people organize and interpret information. According to this theory, schemas are mental structures or frameworks that organize knowledge and expectations about the world based on past experiences.’’
This connection between the theory and the collection highlights how both revolve around the idea of transformation and the ability to accommodate changing circumstances. Each garment is malleable, with bendable wires in the hems, to create new asymmetrical shapes.
3-DIMENSIONAL presents ‘BELBIN’ - Spring/Summer 2024 Capsule Collection
BELBIN is inspired by British researcher Raymond Meredith Belbin’s test; a behavioral assessment tool designed to evaluate individuals' strengths and weaknesses in a group setting.
This collection showcases ten (10) unique looks, each representing one of nine distinct team roles that reflect different strengths. The final look symbolizes the collective success achieved through the combined efforts and contributions of all team members.
3-DIMENSIONAL presents ‘JOHARI’ - Fall/Winter 2024 Capsule Collection
This collection is inspired by the Johari Window philosophy; a technique to help people understand their relationship with themselves and others.
The Johari Window consists of 4 quadrants. 2 looks (1 boy & 1 girl) will represent each quadrant. Colors will go from dark to bright, representing the unconscious part of us that neither ourselves nor other sees and what is perceived by ourselves and our peers.
